Our Story

At Cornell Health Services we pride ourselves on creating an environment that feels like home, with the safety and comfort of having family and friends with you each day. Our dedicated caregivers strive to establish trusting relationships through their compassionate care, attention to detail, and the joy they share with their residents. Whether they are attending regular outings in the community or celebrating a Packers victory, our residents enjoy activities and a variety of ways to engage with each other and with our staff.

Our small town is located along the beautiful Chippewa River, and we have been serving the Cornell and surrounding communities since 1984. We are proud to be active members of the Cornell Area Betterment Association and proud to embrace our community which is home to the Brunet Island State Park, Old Abe State Trail, and the only remaining pulpwood stacker.

We recently were awarded a 2020 – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The Award Program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. This award recognizes our commitment to the pursuit of quality and our focus on developing systems and protocols that meet our residents’ needs and provide consistent quality care.
